Built for the Biggest Propulsion Systems

Precision at any scale — from the first prototype to final eVTOL certification testing.

1000 Hz Sampling Rate

Measure vibration, evaluate ESC responsiveness, and characterize the dynamic response of very large motors and propellers at full 1 kHz resolution.

ASTM Calibrated Load Cell

Calibrated to ASTM E74 (213 push/pull points) and ASTM E2428 (213 CW/CCW points). ±0.5% of the measured value — the most precise measurement on the market.

I/O API & Python Control

Full I/O API to read and control extra sensors and CAN ESCs. Automate and fully customize your test sequences in Python.

High-Power Capability

Supports up to 1000 V and 500 A, with a fiber optic RPM sensor for interference-free measurement in even the most electrically noisy environments.

Wireless Network Control

Remotely operate the Flight Stand from any computer on your network. Run high-power tests safely from a distance.

Frictionless Measurement

Solid-state measurement system with no bearings or hinges — minimal mechanical noise means cleaner data, even at 500 kgf.

Compatible with CAN ESCs

The Flight Stand 500 natively integrates with CAN-based ESCs, enabling precise motor control and real-time telemetry from ESCs that support open protocols. Use the I/O API and Python to script complex test sequences that leverage CAN bus commands alongside the stand's full sensor suite.

★★★★★

"We discovered your sUAS propeller test stand at AUVSI and I think you guys have done an outstanding job bringing this tool to the community. Keep up the great work!"

★★★★★

"We used the Flight Stand to test subscale prototypes of our VTOL model. We used an in-house wind tunnel setup and the test stand worked beautifully."

★★★★★

"Having a reliable ready-to-use-out-of-the-box thrust stand solution was critical to meeting our need to test often and quickly iterate on designs in our development of the toroidal propeller."

★★★★★

"We put our Flight Stand on a weighted cart that we can roll onto the ramp of our R&D facility. One of our favorite features is the ability to easily integrate it into larger systems — we use it to test new power systems together with propellers."

★★★★★

"The Flight Stand has been fundamental in our efforts to size a motor and propeller for our 21 kg hybrid-electric multirotor. The ability to automate testing has helped us ensure that tests can be consistently and reproducibly performed."

★★★★★

"The out-of-the-box capability coupled with the ease of use and powerful software features made the DEP system a no-brainer. We couldn't have built this capability from the ground up within the same budget, let alone timeline."

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the Flight Stand 500 kit?

The Flight Stand 500 kit includes: thrust stand hardware, 1 motor mounting plate, 1 force measurement unit, 1 data acquisition unit, 1 high-voltage measurement unit, 1 current measurement unit, 1 fiber optic RPM sensor, 2 thermocouples, 1 airspeed pressure sensor, complimentary software for system control and data acquisition, and a complimentary training course covering stand setup and propulsion testing theory.

What is the calibration standard?

The Flight Stand 500 is calibrated to ASTM standards: ASTM E74 with 213 push/pull points for thrust, and ASTM E2428 with 213 CW/CCW points for torque. This provides ±0.5% accuracy of the measured value — the most precise measurement on the market.

What is the warranty?

The Flight Stand 500 comes with a 1-year limited warranty. Extended warranty and MRO packages are available upon request. See our complete Terms of Service for full details and conditions.

Is on-site support available?

On-site support is available for the installation of the Flight Stand 500. Contact our sales team for more information on installation options and support packages.

Are motors, propellers, and ESCs included?

Motors, propellers, and ESCs are not included and must be sourced by the customer.

How does the motor mounting plate work?

The Flight Stand 500 kit includes a motor mounting plate. You drill holes in the plate according to your motor's bolt pattern, pass screws through the plate and into the motor's mounting holes, then mount the plate onto the Force Measurement Unit (FMU) using the standoffs provided.
